Job summary

KeolisAmey Docklands is seeking a Signalling First Line Response Lead to coordinate a 24/7 engineering response across the DLR network. You’ll oversee the First Line Response Team from the control room, ensuring safe operation and rapid service restoration.

You will work with maintenance and engineering managers to uphold asset reliability, safety, and competence development of engineering colleagues in a busy control room environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience maintaining railway equipment, signalling systems or LRVs.
  • Experience in safety-critical engineering environments.
  • Strong communication to explain technical issues to stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating responses to engineering faults or service disruptions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the First Line Response Team to deliver safe, effective engineering response across the DLR network.
  • Direct engineering resources from operational control to minimise service disruption and support recovery.
  • Support maintenance, fault response and reliability of signalling, ATC, station systems, points and LRVs.
  • Escalate significant failures to Engineering Management and provide clear recommendations for resolution.
