Job summary

Randstad CPE London is seeking a Railway Project Engineer to deliver a Telecoms, SCADA and Control Systems renewal programme in Kent. The role blends design review, testing support and stakeholder coordination across multiple disciplines within a long-term transport infrastructure project.

Hybrid/remote working is available, with a day rate of £500-£600 Inside IR35. The contract runs for a three-year programme, offering a pivotal role in upgrading critical railway control systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering railway SCADA and/or control systems projects.
• Strong understanding of railway telecoms, signalling, HVAC and OT environments.
• Experience working within infrastructure and rail sectors.
• Excellent stakeholder management and technical coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering activities throughout the project life-cycle.
• Review and coordinate designs, technical documentation and engineering assurance.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and project requirements.
• Manage technical interfaces across multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.
