Job summary
Porterbrook is seeking an exceptional Performance & Reliability Engineer to join our digital services team. You will analyse Remote Condition Monitoring data, translate findings into actionable maintenance strategies, and work with customers and the supply chain to refine event detection algorithms and develop new digital products.
You will become a subject matter expert on our digital systems, support cyber security considerations, and help drive business cases for future investment in this
Qualifications
- Engineering qualification (Degree/HND/HNC) in engineering.
- Knowledge of railway industry rolling stock is desirable.
- Understanding of condition-based maintenance and Reliability-Centred maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Analyse RCM outputs and translate data into engineering actions for Porterbrook assets.
- Collaborate with engineering and customers to implement maintenance interventions based on RCM data.
- Be the primary contact for day-to-day analysis and management of RCM data with customers.
- Support development of event detection algorithms with customers and suppliers.
- Create customer use cases from RCM outputs to drive adoption of digital tech.
- Assist in developing new digital products and services with the wider team.
- Track KPIs to measure success of new digital products and justify future investment.
