Job summary

Rullion is seeking a Quality Inspector in Manchester to join a large overhauls project for Class 390 Avanti High Speed Trains. You will monitor, audit and improve quality, supporting product safety and shaping total quality culture.

Based at Manchester Train Care Centre, the role involves days/nights on a 2-week shift, 48 hours weekly, with PAYE £24.52/hr (up to 12 weeks) and umbrella rates higher; long-term project through Sept 2027 with safety-critical duties and ongoing qualifications.

Qualifications

• Awareness of quality systems ISO 9001-2015, RISAS, EN14001.
• 5+ years in engineering, mechanical or electromechanical roles.
• Knowledge of Railway Industry Standards.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customers, suppliers and workshop on quality issues.
• Resolve problems related to product service and quality.
• Ensure drawings, specs and revisions are used correctly.
