Rullion Managed Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Manchester to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on Class 185 train units. This role is crucial for meeting production schedules and enhancing the future of transport.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent NVQ Level 2, with a solid background in mechanical fault-finding and repairs.

This contract position offers £16.40 per hour and requires candidates to ideally live within 1 hour of the depot.

Competenze

• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent mechanical experience / NVQ Level 2 Equivalent.
• Background in mechanical fault-finding and repairs on heavy rolling stock, vehicles, or machinery.
• Competency in using laptops for diagnostic testing and mechanical diagnostics.

Mansioni

• Perform mechanical maintenance and repair on Class 185 train units.
• Conduct mechanical fault diagnosis, including fault downloads and basic troubleshooting.
• Source, order, and retrieve necessary spares and materials.
