Job summary

Teamforce Labour are currently seeking an experienced PTS Slinger (All Duties) for a project in Leeds, LS24, starting Monday 5th October. The role involves carrying out Slinger/Signaller duties safely, guiding lifting operations and working closely with crane operators to ensure loads are moved safely on site.

Candidates must hold a valid PTS and Slinger/Signaller – All Duties, have rail experience and a solid understanding of lifting practices.

Qualifications

• Valid PTS card and Slinger/Signaller – All Duties.
• Previous rail project experience.
• Good understanding of lifting operations and safety.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all Slinger/Signaller duties safely and efficiently.
• Direct and guide lifting operations in accordance with site procedures.
• Work closely with crane and plant operators to ensure safe movement of loads.
• Inspect lifting accessories before use and report any defects.
• Ensure loads are correctly secured, balanced and controlled.
• Maintain clear communication with operators and the site team.
• Assist with general site duties when required.
• Adhere to Network Rail and site-specific health and safety requirements at all times.
