Job summary

Teamforce Labour are currently looking for an experienced Slinger/Signaller – All Duties for a long-term position in Georgemas, Scotland, starting 29/09/2026.

Hours are 6:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, with 12-hour shifts and a long-term prospect. The role requires CPCS/NPORS Slinger/Signaller skills and strong lifting operation knowledge. Rate is negotiable depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS/NPORS Slinger/Signaller – All Duties qualification required.
• Experience on construction, civils or infrastructure projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lifting procedures and signaling methods.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Carry out slinging and signalling duties for lifting operations across the site.
• Safely attach, secure and release loads using the appropriate lifting accessories.
• Direct crane operators using approved hand signals and radio communication.
• Ensure loads are correctly balanced, secure and safe before lifting.
• Work closely with the Crane/Lift Supervisor and crane operators.
• Check lifting accessories before use and report any defects immediately.
• Maintain safe exclusion zones during lifting operations.
• Ensure lifting activities are carried out in accordance with lift plans, RAMS and site procedures.
• Assist with general site duties when required.
• Follow all site health & safety requirements at all times.

Requirements:

• Valid CPCS/NPORS Slinger/Signaller – All Duties qualification.
• Previous experience working on construction, civils or infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of safe lifting operations and procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with crane operators and lifting teams.
• Reliable and able to work 12-hour shifts.
