NEOS Engineering in Manchester is seeking an experienced Rail Project Manager to run individual rail projects within an established profit centre. You will own delivery, budgets and customer satisfaction while building a pipeline of work with clients.

The role requires 5+ years of rail project management experience, leadership skills, and strong HV/LV electrical knowledge. A commercial mindset, flexibility for overtime and a Manchester-based office presence are essential.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years’ experience managing rail projects.
• Experience developing and managing a team.
• HV/LV electrical engineering services knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commercial mindset with budgets and tendering.
• Flexibility for overtime when needed.

Aufgaben

• Manage rail projects and budgets in line with forecasts.
• Define project scope with stakeholders and allocate resources.
• Deliver projects with right-first-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Read and implement contracts with support from management/ commercial teams.
• Seek out rail opportunities, develop quotations and take them to tender.
• Set measurable goals aligned with the strategy.
• Manage costs and improve profitability of the profit centre.
• Deliver operations in line with HV/LV safety rules and health and safety policy.
• Visit projects as required, based in Manchester office.
