Job summary

NEOS Engineering in Manchester is seeking an experienced HV Project Manager to oversee high voltage projects within an established profit centre. You will manage budgets, define scope with stakeholders, and ensure delivery that meets safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HV project management, leadership experience, and in-depth knowledge of HV/LV electrical services markets, with strong communication and commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience managing HV projects.
• Demonstrable experience of developing and managing a team.
• Detailed knowledge of the HV/LV electrical engineering services industry and its markets.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
• A commercial mindset, comfortable with budgets, contracts and tendering.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of individual HV projects, developing and delivering budgets.
• Define project scope and objectives with stakeholders, ensuring feasibility and resource allocation.
• Manage projects, processes and procedures to achieve right first time and customer satisfaction.
• Read, interpret and implement contracts with support from management and commercial teams.
• Seek out and develop HV opportunities, generating quotations and tendering.

Education

NVQ Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering

IOSH or SMSTS (H&S for Managers)

Higher qualification in Electrical Engineering (advantageous)
