Job summary

NEOS Engineering in Manchester is seeking an experienced Rail Project Manager to run individual rail projects within an existing profit centre, taking ownership of delivery, budgets and customer satisfaction. You’ll build a pipeline of work through new and existing clients while managing costs, safety, and regulatory compliance from the Manchester office.

• 5+ years of experience managing rail projects and programmes.
• Demonstrable experience leading and developing a team.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial mindset with budgets, contracts and tendering exposure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rail projects within forecast budgets and timelines.
• Define scope with stakeholders; ensure feasibility and resourcing.
• Manage processes to achieve quality and client satisfaction.
• Read and apply contracts with support from the commercial team.
• Identify and pursue rail opportunities, prepare quotes and tenders.
• Set measurable goals aligned with strategy; drive performance.
