Job summary

Ridge and Partners LLP in Manchester seeks a Project Manager with rail industry experience to lead delivery on major rail projects. You will manage budgets, risks and programmes, coordinate contractors and consultants, and maintain strong client relationships throughout all project phases.

Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts and governance requirements is essential. The role requires proactive reporting, and ability to set up and maintain project management plans, ensuring on-time, on-budget

Qualifications

• Experience in rail project delivery from inception to closeout.
• Liaising with contractors, consultants and stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
• Knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts.
• Experience with project budgets, costs, risks and programmes.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to update reports and present to diverse audiences.
• Understanding of CDM responsibilities from a client perspective.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Be involved in actions, tracking, monitoring and reporting project progress.
• Be an active part of major projects and frameworks, ensuring delivery to time, cost, and quality standards.
• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants and stakeholders.
• Ensure governance, risk, and assurance processes across all projects.
• Represent Ridge and our Clients on projects and programmes.
• Update contractual milestones in project systems.
• Set up document and project management plans.
• Inform main stakeholders if there is any deviation.
