Job summary

Alder Forest is recruiting an experienced Agent / Contractor's Responsible Engineer (CRE) to lead delivery on a portfolio of high-profile rail infrastructure projects across the North West. You will take ownership, manage multi-disciplinary teams and drive projects through early delivery stages.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in rail projects.
• Proven track record delivering Network Rail or rail infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating design teams and managing programmes.
• Safety-critical rail environment knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of AfA projects on behalf of the principal contractor.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with client team (TfGM).
• Coordinate site delivery team and lead weekly project meetings.
• Oversee the design team ensuring outputs align with programme and requirements.
• Produce and manage safety-critical documentation.
• Coordinate and manage site surveys.
• Lead option selection with technical, commercial and programme considerations.
• Drive collaboration across stakeholders for successful outcomes.
