Job summary

Rolls-Royce Power Systems is seeking a Product Support Engineer – Rail to perform maintenance and repairs on MTU rail products. The role is Midlands based with remote options and requires activity across customer sites, meetings, and documentation to ensure contract compliance.

The position emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and flexible deployment including occasional mobile work and training participation to keep skills current.

Qualifications

• From an engineering background.
• NVQ Level 2 in Engineering preferable but not essential.
• Outstanding safety awareness.
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and email; SAP and MTU tools training offered.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on MTU rail products in line with manuals and contract requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities for maintenance procedures.
• Attend customer meetings to obtain sign-off for work.
• Complete documentation accurately for all work and reporting to the company and customer.
• Maintain HSQE compliance and onsite cleanliness.
• Be available for 24/7 shift work and mobile engineering as required.
