Responsabilités

• Carry out testing of rail power packs following overhaul, repair and maintenance activities.
• Prepare power packs and associated equipment for testing in accordance with approved procedures.
• Position, secure and connect power packs to test equipment using approved methods and equipment.
• Complete pre-test checks to confirm readiness for testing.
• Operate test cell equipment in accordance with approved operating instructions and authorisations.
• Monitor engine operation and performance throughout the test cycle.
• Observe parameters such as temperatures, pressures, speeds and other measurements.
• Identify and report abnormal readings, leaks, noises, vibrations or other issues.
• Carry out post-test inspections and checks per procedures.
• Support repeat testing after corrective action when authorised.
• Ensure tests finish within timescales without compromising safety or quality.
• Report issues affecting test completion or delivery to the Test Cell Team Leader.
