Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Test Cell Operative to support the testing of rail power packs after overhaul and repair. You will prepare packs, connect to test equipment, monitor performance and document results with full traceability.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an engineering, maintenance or MRO environment is desirable.
• Ability to follow approved procedures and work instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out testing of rail power packs following overhaul, repair and maintenance activities.
• Prepare power packs and equipment for testing per procedures.
• Position, connect and secure power packs to test equipment.
• Perform pre-test checks and confirm readiness of power pack and connections.
• Monitor engine operation and report abnormal readings or faults.
• Complete post-test inspections and maintain test documentation with traceability.
