Rolls-Royce Corporation in Winsford is seeking a Test Cell Operative – MRO Operations to carry out rail power pack testing after overhaul, repair and maintenance, ensuring tests are completed safely and recorded with full traceability.

You will prepare power packs, connect to test equipment, monitor parameters, report faults and support documentation; a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Test Cell Operations: Carry out testing of rail power packs following overhaul, repair and maintenance activities.
• Prepare power packs and associated equipment for testing in accordance with approved procedures.
• Position, secure and connect power packs to test equipment using approved methods.
• Complete pre-test checks to confirm readiness of power pack and connections.
• Operate test cell equipment following competency authorisations and procedures.
• Monitor engine operation and performance throughout the test cycle.
• Record readings and report abnormal findings or faults promptly.
• Carry out post-test inspections and document results as required.
• Support repeat testing after corrective actions and maintain documentation traceability.
• Ensure testing is completed within timescales without compromising safety or quality.
