Job summary

Ford & Stanley Talent Services Group Ltd is recruiting MIG Welders for a long‑term opportunity. Initial training in Doncaster with remuneration support, then permanently based at Barton Under Needwood. Work on rail components, performing high‑quality welding and repair work and learning new welding processes.

You’ll join a skilled team and contribute to overhaul and repair of mechanical rail components, with opportunities to develop skills across multiple welding techniques.

Qualifications

• You’ll bring experience of MIG welding and fabrication.
• Background in welding and fabrication across MIG, TIG, Stick, MMA or Fluxcore is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Learn new welding processes.
• MMA Fillet & Lap Welding (Vertical and Overhead positions).
• MAG Butt & Fillet Welding (Vertical and Overhead positions).
• Welding and repair of Manganese Liners.
