Job summary

Ford & Stanley Talent Services Group Ltd in Milton Keynes is seeking skilled MIG Welders to join a team fabricating and welding large steel structures used on passenger trains. You will read engineering drawings and follow instructions to complete welds from start to finish.

Experience with MIG welding and fabrication is essential, and you must be able to work across rotating day and night shifts with a 33% uplift. Driving licence and medical screening are required; overtime potential exists.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience in fabrication and welding workflows.
• Attention to detail and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out welding on inside structures, underframes and elevated working areas.
• Help to fabricate and prepare surfaces ready for welding.
• Must be able to work from engineering drawings and instruction.
