Kier Rail is seeking an MEP Technical Supervisor to oversee mechanical and electrical installations on site, ensuring compliance with regulations and project specifications. You will act as the on-site client representative, coordinating with the Construction Responsible Engineer and subcontractors to deliver safe, quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• As a candidate, you hold a technical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• You have extensive experience in M&E building services/E&P installation, inspection, testing and commissioning.
• You possess strong knowledge of building regulations, standards, and health & safety requirements.
• You hold a Testing and Commissioning Qualification (C&G 2391 or similar) and CSCS card or equivalent site safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and inspecting M&E/E&P and SISS installations to ensure compliance with drawings and standards.
• Conducting routine and ad hoc inspections, ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Maintaining site records, including inspection reports, instructions, and progress photos.
• Overseeing, witnessing and verifying testing and commissioning activities to ensure design intent.
• Acting as the link between the Construction Responsible Engineer and subcontractors for smooth coordination.
