Job summary

Siemens Mobility Limited is seeking a Production Manager to lead the Three Bridges depot in Crawley. You’ll drive day-to-day delivery of rolling stock maintenance, coordinate large-scale projects, and build a high-performing, safety-conscious team.

You’ll mobilise a new component overhaul department, establish SOPs, and grow a skilled workforce while delivering reliable output and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Management or supervisory experience in a technical position.
• Technical knowledge of Rolling Stock maintenance.
• ONC or equivalent qualification or experience.
• Good knowledge of IT systems/software.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of maintenance on rolling stock.
• Plan, prepare and operate maintenance schedules to meet targets.
• Understand customer requirements and drive continuous improvement and relationships.
• Communicate health and safety responsibilities to the team and enforce standards.
• Standardise processes and record SOPs for consistency.
• Foster a high-performance culture with strong employee engagement.
