Job summary

SCS JV Railways in London is seeking a Senior Engineering Surveyor to join a large survey team. The role focuses on producing surveys with Total stations, laser scanners and drones for design, construction and as-built work, with field duties across the western area.

You will collaborate with site disciplines and produce QA records and pre-pour surveys. The role requires experience on rail civils projects, CSCS card, driving licence, and an ability to train others.

Qualifications

• Member of a construction related professional body is preferred
• Full driving licence is required
• At least three years working on rail civils projects is preferred

Responsibilities

• Carry out surveying using total stations, laser scanners and drones
• Produce QA records and pre-pour surveys to ITP standards
• Communicate setting out to on-site disciplines and design teams
• Manage survey sub-contractors and data across a western area
• Maintain horizontal and vertical control networks and QA documentation
