Job summary

SCS Railways is seeking a Senior Engineering Surveyor to join a large engineering survey team. You will conduct surveys using Total stations, laser scanners and drones, and work across the London area with other site disciplines.

The role involves instrument calibration, QA record keeping and delivering high-quality topographic surveys. Flexible working options available, including part-time or remote arrangements by interview.

Qualifications

• CSCS card is required to work on site.
• Full driving licence is preferred.
• Minimum three years on rail civils projects recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site surveys using Total stations, laser scanners and drones.
• Collaborate with design teams and other site disciplines.
• Carry out instrument calibrations and QA records for surveys.
• Produce topographic surveys from multiple data sources.
• Prepare and present survey data and deliverables to project teams.
• Maintain survey control networks (horizontal and vertical).
• Communicate setting out and survey information to on-site disciplines.
• Support pre-pour surveys to comply with ITP systems.
