Job summary

ARM is seeking a Survey Engineer (Rail) to lead topographical and rail infrastructure surveys across UK projects. The role includes setting up and maintaining survey control networks, managing GNSS control and coordinate transformations (including SnakeGrid), processing point cloud data, and delivering CAD drawings.

Survey Engineer (Rail)

Location: Hybrid - a mix of site, office and home working (Various locations across UK - Swindon, Cardiff, Birmingham, York

Travel: Business expenses and hire car provided for work‑related travel

• Chartered status (or working toward it)
• Membership of RICS, ICES or CICES
• Experience on major rail enhancement or renewals projects
• Knowledge of railway safety and risk management
• Experience producing survey specifications or technical guidance

Security Requirements
