Job summary

Siemens Mobility offers an Apprenticeship in York to develop engineering skills through hands-on experience and structured training. You’ll work on signalling and control solutions, participate in project work across the UK rail network and complete a formal apprenticeship aligned to the Level 4 Rail Engineering Advanced Technician standard.

Qualifications

• GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade 4/C or higher.
• Level 3 Engineering qualification or equivalent.
• 3 A Levels (C or above) in maths/physics/engineering or an equivalent technical route.

Responsibilities

• Learn how signalling and control systems are designed, tested, installed and maintained.
• Support live UK rail projects and learn industry standards and processes.
• Develop professional skills and work towards registration through the apprenticeship programme.
