Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Croydon is offering a 48‑month apprenticeship aligned to the LEVEL 4 Rail Engineering Advanced Technician standard. Start with hands-on experience while receiving mentoring, training days and progression towards a permanent role on successful completion.

You will learn to design, test, install and maintain signalling and control systems, gain live project experience, and pursue professional registration while engaging in STEM activities.

Qualifications

• Must have GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
• Demonstrate logical thinking and ability to self-learn and research.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on projects.

Responsibilities

• Learn signalling and control system design, testing, installation and maintenance.
• Gain real-world experience on live projects across the UK rail network.
• Develop professional skills and pursue registration and STEM volunteering opportunities.
