Job summary

Siemens Mobility is offering a Level 4 Rail Engineering Advanced Technician apprenticeship, delivered over 48 months with block release (hybrid). NTAR is the expected provider.

You will work across regional project sites, gaining hands-on experience on live signalling projects and pursuing your IRSE Installation licence while building a holistic view of railway engineering and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have GCSE English Language and Maths at grade 4/C or higher.
• Demonstrate logical thinking, willingness to self-learn, and problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of challenges and drive change.
• Enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions.
• On track to achieve one of: Level 3 Engineering Qualification; Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering; Engineering BTEC or equivalent; 3 A Levels at C or above.

Responsibilities

• Work on live signalling projects to gain hands-on experience.
• Collaborate with regional project teams to support delivery.
• Present achievements and deliver an Apprentice Excellence Project proposing a business process change.
