Job summary

Siemens Mobility invites applications for a Higher Apprentice - Construction (Level 4). This 48‑month programme combines hands‑on site work with structured development, mentoring and a dedicated apprenticeship pathway toward an IRSE installation licence.

You’ll work across regional project sites, align to a business role from day one, and have a clear progression into a permanent role on successful completion. A block release hybrid model with NTAR as provider is planned.

Qualifications

• GCSE English Language and Maths grade 4/C or better.
• Logical thinking, willing to self‑learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving.
• Ability to work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change.
• Enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Driving Project Delivery: contribute to regional rail infrastructure projects with safe, efficient signalling installations.
• Building a Safer Railway: gather workplace evidence and hands‑on experience toward an IRSE licence.
• Connecting the Business: bring fresh perspectives through cross‑functional placements to bridge site operations and support departments.
