Job summary

Alstom in Mansfield is seeking an Embedded Software Design Engineer to deliver cost-efficient embedded software designs for railway electronics systems. You will report to the Head of Engineering and collaborate with the Services team in Alstom UK&I.

Responsibilities include delivering designs that meet deadlines, ensuring performance, reliability and compliance with industry standards, and driving innovation while adhering to HSE regulations.

Qualifications

• Substantial embedded software design experience within electronics.
• Rail industry knowledge is advantageous.
• Degree in Software Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide embedded software designs for a range of electronics systems to meet deadlines.
• Deliver high standards of embedded software design in terms of performance, reliability, cost and quality.
• Ensure designs comply with latest industry regulations and design standards.
