Job summary

Siemens Mobility is offering a Level 4 Higher Apprentice position in Electrification OLE (overhead line equipment). The 48-month programme combines hands-on work with structured development, mentoring and a Business Impact Project to improve a business process.

You will align with a role from day one and may transition to a permanent role on successful completion. The role is based in York with nationwide travel as needed and a provider of NTAR.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering is required.
• Relevant Engineering BTEC or equivalent technical qualification.
• 3 A Levels at grade C or above in maths/physics/engineering recommended.
• GCSE English Language and Maths at minimum grade 4/C.

Responsibilities

• Support the Electrification OLE team in design, construction and commissioning tasks.
• Travel nationwide to support project work; travel expenses covered.
