Job summary
WSP seeks an Electrical Building Services Technical Discipline Lead for Rail Stations in the UK. The role provides technical governance, leadership, and assurance across the Rail business, reporting to the UK Rail MEP Service Lead.
You will drive technical excellence, capability, and growth while championing safety, decarbonisation, and best practices. Expect to lead complex projects, develop talent, and collaborate with clients, project teams, and leadership.
Qualifications
- Degree in electrical/building services related to rail.
- CEng with recognised professional institution.
- Leader in UK rail electrical building services.
- Extensive experience in design, feasibility, and detailed design.
- Knowledge of Network Rail, TfL, LUL standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and governance across the discipline.
- Be the technical authority for Electrical Building Services in rail stations.
- Lead complex/high-profile projects and develop talent.
- Promote innovation and best practice across the discipline.
- Ensure safety leadership and decarbonisation approaches.
- Coordinate with other rail systems disciplines and stakeholders.
