Job summary

CPR in London seeks a Project Engineer to join the client-side team on a new state-of-the-art rail maintenance depot. You will support Senior and Lead Project Engineers in managing design and build challenges, acting as a first point of contact for the design and build contractor on technical matters to keep activities on track.

This role offers exposure to a major infrastructure programme and mentoring toward Chartership, with support from senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Background in civil engineering on depot-adjacent projects.
• Experience with NEC3 contracts and regulatory standards.
• Proven ability to balance cost and programme.
• Qualifications toward Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Support technical assurance across design and build activities.
• Review contractor deliverables against standards.
• Engage with designers and specialists to develop solutions.
• Discharge NEC3 Supervisor duties and CDM roles.
