Job summary

Amcogiffen is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to support its Wales & Western Route projects from Slough to Newport. You will lead site teams on lineside civils and telecoms works, ensuring safe delivery to programme and within budget.

The role requires PTS and proven rail supervision experience, with SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS and a full UK driving licence. You will coordinate labour, plant, and documentation across live rail environments, driving quality and safety.

Qualifications

• PTS required for rail site supervision.
• Proven rail site supervisor / works supervisor experience.
• Experience delivering lineside civils, telecoms or rail infrastructure works.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
• CSCS card holder.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Desirable: COSS competence.
• Desirable: telecoms or fibre installation experience.
• Desirable: cable pull and trough installation experience.
• Desirable: civils background (ducting, drainage, structures).
• Desirable: experience on Network Rail projects / infrastructure maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site teams and ensure works are delivered safely.
• Coordinate labour and plant on site.
• Ensure works align with approved documentation and standards.
• Maintain site diaries and records.
• Support Project Manager in programme, cost control and on-site issues.
• Promote H&S and environmental initiatives.
