Job summary

WSP is seeking a Rail Civil Engineering CAD professional to join our team in the UK. The role focuses on producing accurate 2D rail‑civil drawings and developing 3D models using MicroStation and Bentley workflows across UK projects.

You will support design teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure QA checks are embedded in the CAD process. Working across multiple offices including Birmingham, you will engage with ProjectWise workflows and collaborate with Engineers, Technicians and planning teams

Qualifications

• Proven ability to produce accurate 2D rail‑civils drawings to UK standards.
• Experience developing and checking 2D and 3D models for multidisciplinary rail projects.
• Familiar with applying CAD QA processes and structured drawing checks.

Responsibilities

• Produce engineering CAD deliverables using Bentley tools and ProjectWise.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary designs and support other engineers.
• Mentor junior technicians and support design reviews.
• Ensure drawings are stored, issued and archived per company procedures.
