Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a Therapeutic Radiographer - Practice Educator who will combine clinical radiography with educational leadership to develop and support learners across the radiotherapy department.

You'll work with radiotherapy leadership and academic partners to design education programmes, maintain competency frameworks, support supervision, ensure regulatory standards and promote a culture of continuous improvement; the post is band 6 with

Qualifications

• BSc Radiotherapy or equivalent.
• HCPC Registration and teaching/assessing qualification.
• Significant post-qualification experience in NHS Radiotherapy.
• Evidence of CPD and using learning to improve practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead education, training and competency programmes for the radiotherapy workforce.
• Identify training needs with clinical, technical and academic partners.
• Support students, apprentices, newly qualified staff and practitioners through teaching and mentorship.
• Maintain training records and ensure compliance with professional/regulatory requirements.
• Promote careers in radiotherapy and support recruitment and apprenticeship initiatives.
