Job summary

University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust (UHNM) is seeking a committed Band 7 Therapeutic Radiographer to join the Radiotherapy Team at the Cancer Centre. The successful candidate will join the leadership team for treatment and support staff development.

You will work with a range of equipment including Varian Linacs, Halcyon systems, CT scanner and Eclipse planning, delivering IMRT/IGRT/SABR and HDR brachytherapy.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is essential for practice as a radiographer.
• Masters level study or qualifications demonstrated.
• Experience in leadership or management roles is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Band 7 radiography team on the treatment floor.
• Provide cross-cover for treatment sites, including annual leave coverage.
• Lead on introducing new technologies and equipment; contribute to business cases for advanced equipment.
• Oversee cascade training of colleagues on new innovations and ensure competency.
