Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 2 Radiotherapy Administrative Assistant to join the Berkshire Cancer Centre team. We are looking for a motivated and organised Radiotherapy Administrative Assistant to join the Berkshire Cancer Centre administrative team. This is an important role supporting the delivery of high-quality radiotherapy services through the provision of comprehensive administrative support to patients, clinical staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.
The post holder will be responsible for a range of administrative duties including appointment management, preparation of clinical records, data entry, patient pathway support and responding to enquiries. The role also includes providing reception cover when required to support service needs.
You will work closely with radiographers, clinicians, administrative colleagues and other healthcare professionals, to ensure patients receive timely information, efficient appointment coordination and a professional, patient-centred service. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a busy healthcare environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team at the Berkshire Cancer Centre. You will play a key role in supporting patients throughout their radiotherapy journey while contributing to the efficient delivery of a busy and dynamic service. Previous administration experience is essential, and experience within the NHS or a healthcare setting would be advantageous.
