Job summary

North Cheshire and Mersey NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Radiology Support Secretary (Band 3) to join our Radiology Secretary Team in Warrington. You will provide comprehensive administrative support to Medical Secretaries, Consultants and the Radiology department, handling typing and communications with care for patient data.

We value accuracy, confidentiality and teamwork. A typing test will be part of the interview process; sponsorship information may apply where relevant.

Qualifications

• Medical Secretary experience
• Sound knowledge of Windows applications
• Good organisation skills
• Knowledge of patient admin systems
• Familiarity with medical terminology

Responsibilities

• Type (from audio/digital dictation) radiology reports and other correspondence within agreed timescales
• Dispatch reports promptly
• Assist Radiology Secretaries/Administrator in administrative duties as required
• Support the Department in maintaining accurate patient records and confidentiality
