Job summary

Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool is seeking a friendly Radiology Receptionist to welcome patients and support the Radiology team in a busy department. The post is NHS AfC Band 2, a fixed-term contract for 12 months, working 37.5 hours per week, 08:30-17:00, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• GCSE English or equivalent is required.
• Previous admin experience and NHS exposure are advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet patients into the Radiology Department in a caring and professional manner.
• Maintain admissions and discharge records on Radiology systems.
• Carry out general clerical duties including printing and scanning.
• Liaise with the wider team, GP practices and external agencies as needed.
• Escalate issues to the Team Leader when appropriate.
• Maintain patient information confidentiality at all times.
