Job summary

Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Team Manager for Radiology & Imaging to lead administrative activity across Bradford Royal Infirmary, St Lukes Hospital and the Eccleshill Diagnostic Centre. You will manage appointment bookings, liaise with clinical teams and provide a patient-focused contact point for the Radiology service.

The role covers line management of the admin team, recruitment support, and ensuring efficient admin processes in a busy NHS environment,

Qualifications

• Administration experience in clinical teams or patient-focused environments.
• Experience coaching/teaching patients and carers.
• Experience working in hospital/NHS environment.
• Previous experience in a cancer service.
• Experience coordinating patient workload.
• Familiarity with Trust IT systems (PPM, CRIS, ICE & EPR).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee appointment bookings for diagnostic tests and radiology procedures.
• Provide clear patient information and liaise with teams to meet KPIs.
• Supervise and develop the admin/secretarial staff; manage absence and annual leave.
• Contribute to recruitment processes and HR liaison for admin staff.
• Record staff sickness and conduct return-to-work interviews.
