Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an administrative post within the Radiology Governance Team. The role focuses on clerical support, document management, and preparation for governance processes to ensure readiness for UKAS accreditation and audits.

The successful candidate will collate documents, manage tasks, track approvals, and maintain document databases to support timely governance activities at the NNUH Colney Lane site.

Responsibilities

• Provide full clerical administrative support to the Radiology Governance Team
• Assist the Governance team with management of project tasks; request and collate documents in advance of meetings or new tasks, chase requests for documents so as not to delay the project
• Collate feedback and responses to actions, chase actions to ensure completion by target date and update the action log
• Send final versions of newly developed documents to the designated person within Radiology to commence the Trust's document approval process and track progress
• Maintain the database of developed documents, updating the document database as approvals are completed
• Add to the audit register audits cited within documents
• Assist in transcribing documents into the Trust's Procedural Document

Job description

A Vacancy at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The radiology department is proud to have achieved the high standards required for UKAS accreditation for a number of years and is committed to ensuring that our standards are continually monitored and improved. The postholder will be integral in ensuring that all aspects of administration are performed within the realms of clinical governance to ensure UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) is successful in readiness for annual assessments. The assessments involve close scrutiny of performance data, target realisation, equipment, protocols, and audits. The first CDC UKAS assessment has just taken place in July 2026, the postholder will be essential to ensure all data, documents, spreadsheets, agendas and itineraries are kept up to date in readiness for the next accreditation visits and online submission of documented evidence.

• Provide full clerical administrative support to the Radiology Governance Team
