Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is offering an Annex 21 training post in radiology. The role involves providing high-quality care during radiological imaging and assisting in producing quality images across CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, ultrasound and plain film procedures.

Training includes induction, up to 3 months, followed by 12 months of skill consolidation to achieve full competency within radiology, with support from a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• SVQ III in Healthcare Support - Clinical or equivalent radiography experience.
• Annex 21 Arrangements for Pay and Banding – 75% of the maximum of the salary scale during training.
• Induction up to 3 months followed by 12 months training to full competency.

Responsibilities

• Care for every patients’ needs and welfare.
• Initialise basic assessment of patient physical capabilities.
• Provide basic information to patients.
• Input patient data on Radiology information system.
