Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Care Support Worker in Radiology (Band 3) on a permanent, full-time basis. The role involves assisting with modalities such as Ultrasound & CT and supporting radiology staff to ensure efficient patient care.

You will work across modalities, in collaboration with nurses, radiographers and admin staff, to deliver safe, patient-centered services and contribute to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Literate, articulate and numerate Secondary school education.
• Experience in the NHS.
• Understanding of the roles of nursing, radiography, ancillary and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Assisting & running of modalities e.g. Ultrasound & CT.
• Laying sterile trollies for drains & biopsies.
• Assisting Radiologists with diagnostic procedures.
• Supporting Nursing staff in Ultrasound and CT with interventional procedures.
• Working solo & as a team member.
