The new CDC centre has the ability to deliver joined up diagnostic care, and with increased capacity this will ensure our patients will have faster access to treatment, earlier diagnosis, and improved outcomes. By becoming part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in innovative ways and play a central role in how we improve patient pathways, delivering the right test, at the right time, in the right place. We are looking for a highly motivated individuals to provide comprehensive Booking and clerical support to the Diagnostic Imaging Department using a high level of initiative and discretion. Excellent communication skills are vital as the post-holders will be required to liaise directly with patients, consultants and other hospital/external colleagues face-to-face, on the telephone and in writing.

You will be required to enter request forms onto the CRIS system and cover the reception desk, booking in patients and dealing with enquiries and opening and distributing the post for the department. This role requires a willingness to work as part of a team as well as the ability to work unsupervised. The ability to work under pressure, pay attention to detail and have excellent organisational skills are also necessary to manage the pressures of a very busy role.,
