Job summary

Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital is seeking a Bank Radiology Assistant to support the Radiology Department across multiple imaging modalities, including MRI and ultrasound. You will help prepare patients, assist radiographers and radiologists, and manage queries and appointments.

The role emphasizes patient care, teamwork and adherence to imaging protocols. The position is offered on a bank contract with ad-hoc hours, providing flexibility and opportunities to work within a leading private

Qualifications

• Care certificate and/or NVQ Level 2 in a health related subject.
• Experience within a Radiology department, assisting with MRI and US procedures is desirable.
• ANTT procedures experience desirable; cannulation training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a range of radiological examinations.
• Prepare patients prior to imaging and assist radiographers.
• Move and support patients throughout the department.
• Maintain workflow and assist Radiologists during examinations.
• Handle service user queries and patient appointments using Radiology IT systems.
• Be responsible for stock maintenance and ordering.
