Job summary

Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital is seeking a Radiology Administrator (Bank) to support referrals and appointment bookings, ensuring service standards and patient satisfaction. This ad hoc, flexible role requires strong data handling and attention to detail in our administrative systems.

Two positions available; NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent preferred; previous experience in a customer-facing environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Administer referrals to appointments and manage bookings.
• Ensure administration meets required standards and timescales.
• Maintain accuracy of data using the appropriate system.

• Coordinate availability of rooms and consultants.
• Create, alter or cancel clinics as required to support business needs.

We are looking for two Radiology Administrators who will be responsible administering a large volume of requests from referrals to appointments, ensuring the hospital meets its service deliverables whilst exceeding customer expectations. Preferably you will hold a NVQ level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent and have experience working in a customer facing environment, to help us build a healthier nation.

As our Bookings Administrator you will:

• Bring empathy, sympathy and sensitivity to the role.
• Ensure complex administration and support, meets the required standards and timescales
• Have attention to detail ensuring all data/information is accurate using the appropriate system and format.
• To prepare standard and ad hoc reports as required and required by the department
• Handle appointments bookings and changes
• Co-ordinate availability of rooms and consultants
• Create, alter or cancel clinics as required to support business needs
