George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust is recruiting for a part-time Radiology Administrative role based in Nuneaton. The post provides essential reception and clerical support within the Radiology Department, ensuring referrals, notes, and appointment details are correctly managed.

The role involves scanning referrals, handling patient queries, and maintaining accurate information in RIS, with training and development opportunities and a commitment to high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with computerised systems.
• Experience of working with the public.
• GCSE numeracy and literacy qualifications or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Radiology Department.
• Scan patient referrals into the Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Check patient information using three-point checks for accuracy.
• Staff the department reception, meet patients, and verify referrals.
• Update radiographers/radiologists/sonographers on appointment lists and notes.
