Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking an Administrator to join the radiology department on a bank (ad-hoc) basis. You will handle calls, book radiology appointments and welcome patients, directing them to changing or waiting areas.

The role involves close teamwork to keep the department running smoothly and requires efficient handling of eligibility and documentation. You’ll prepare clinical paperwork, referral forms and imaging reports, with a professional, empathetic approach.

Qualifications

• Experience of administration in a complex fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrable call handling skills.
• Excellent IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer the phone, deal with enquiries and book radiology appointments.
• Welcome patients in person, directing them to changing or waiting rooms.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure the department runs smoothly.
• Prepare clinical paperwork, referral forms, charge sheets and terms and conditions; send out imaging reports; ad-hoc bank hours.
