Job summary

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant Radiographer in Breast Imaging to deliver autonomous clinical practice and lead breast imaging services. You will provide expert radiographic input, interpret mammograms and ultrasounds, perform interventional procedures, and support education and mentorship of radiographers and trainees within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Clinical radiography expertise in breast imaging (mammography, ultrasound)

Responsibilities

• Independent clinical breast examination
• Independent breast screening and symptomatic mammographic interpretation and radiology report
• Independent breast ultrasound examination and radiology report
• Independent percutaneous breast procedures under guidance (cyst aspiration, biopsy, localization)
• Leadership, education, supervision and mentorship of radiography staff and trainees
