Job summary

Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital is recruiting for a full time General Radiographer on a permanent basis in Cambridge. This role would suit an experienced Radiographer who wants to take their career to the next level.

Shift patterns are 5 x 7.5 hr shifts Mon-Sat with on-call duties on a rota. You will be part of a team delivering high quality imaging, provide clinical leadership, and ensure governance and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • HCPC Registration is required.
  • Experience in general imaging including theatres.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work in a commercial environment while maintaining safe standards.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality, efficient radiographic service and provide highly skilled imaging for patients.
  • Provide clinical leadership, educational and development expertise.
  • Supervise radiographers and students to maintain imaging standards.
  • Embed Clinical Governance and risk management in daily practice.

Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital is recruiting for a full time General Radiographer on a permanent basis.

This role would suit experienced Radiographer who wants to take their career to the next level.

Duties and responsibilities
  • To be part of a team delivering high quality, efficient radiographic service. To provide highly skilled and specialised imaging for patients, to make informed decisions on the diagnostic imaging required and to demonstrate a professional, caring and responsible approach to the duties carried out
  • To ensure the team delivers effective imaging by providing appropriate clinical leadership, educational and development expertise.
  • To be responsible for the standard of own imaging work and that of other supervised radiographers and students: This standard will be that set by Spire.
  • To ensure that Clinical Governance and risk management are embedded within daily practice.
Who we're looking for:
  • Diploma or Degree in Radiography
  • HCPC Registration
  • Experience is required for all general imaging including, theatres
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work in a commercial environment while maintaining safe standards.
  • Flexible approach to work and working patterns.
