Job summary

Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital is seeking a motivated Rotational Radiographer to join the Radiology team. The role is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours) and covers General Radiography, Mobile Imaging, Fluoroscopy and Theatres.

You will work under IR(ME)R guidelines, with HCPC registration and a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography, delivering high-quality imaging and contributing to patient care in a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent) and HCPC registration.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with IR(ME)R and protocols.
• Rotate across imaging areas including General Radiography, Mobile Imaging, Fluoroscopy, Theatres.
• Adjust imaging techniques to meet patient needs and maintain accurate records using RIS/PACS.
• Contribute to out-of-hours, weekend, and on-call rotas as required.

Up to £44,000 per annum depending on experience

37.5 hours per week

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Rotational Radiographer to join our dynamic Radiology team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified radiographer looking to develop their skills across a wide range of imaging modalities within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

This is an exciting time to join the UK's largest Healthcare Charity. 2027 will see a complete overhaul of our diagnostic imaging equipment, giving you the opportunity to work with the latest technology to benefit patient diagnosis and outcomes.

As a Radiographer at our hospital, you'll bring high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You will have a great eye for detail and be caring by nature. You must hold a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent) to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and be able to demonstrate excellent teamwork skills.

As a Rotational Radiographer you will:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations in accordance with IR(ME)R, departmental protocols, and professional guidelines.
• Rotate across imaging areas including: General Radiography, Mobile Imaging, Fluoroscopy, Theatres.
• Adjust imaging techniques to meet the clinical and individual needs of patients.
• Maintain accurate clinical records using RIS/PACS
• Contribute to out-of-hours, weekend, and on-call rotas as required.

The successful candidate will have:

• BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
• HCPC registration.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
